I LIKE THIS...“Now, in their love, which was stronger, there were the seeds of hatred and fear and confusion growing at the same time: for love can exist with hatred, each preying on the other, and this is what gives it its greatest fury.” TH White The Once and Future King.....Of Lancelot and Guinevere

Jurassica
Gently swaying grass, wet and long
Sounds of first morning song
Sunshine through clouds heaven sent
Nettles grown amongst ground ancient rent
Fell slopes scarred with chalk and green
Harsh terrain rocky and obscene
Cows and sheep chewing content
Paths trodden and yet made no dent
Waves crashing on rocky shore
Same as a thousand years before
Ancient fisher wife winding twine
Local farm hand tending swine
Cottage standing sturdy, heavy with flint
Moisture on the sill adding its glint
People emerged and setting to the day
Showing once more the Jurassic coast way

I LIKE THIS... Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened..... THOMAS HARDY of Dorchester
