Freedom to Think

I welcome you to read on and perhaps you can decide .... After some years wandering around this world a little aimlessly I met a man who suggested to me that we each are put here with a unique gift....if so then mine I believe is to earn my stripes and become (in archetype terms) a hero... There are I think a number of archetypes and I will write more about this elsewhere, oh and a hero..... Not quite how it sounds, not quite what I or you might imagine. I learn that we have no right to be heard, though we have the power to grant the gift of listening to another. Though I write, this for me is the mantle upon which I place this careful listening I have begun. I believe that writing touches the creative child within and sets them free. I learn also that to grow we must be willing to take a risk, to be vulnerable, to be human!

oOne day I will die, but before that day comes I live, and what a life it is

I am discovering the road to recovery involves determination and much diligence. I continually find it rocky and bloody hard, but inspiringly rewarding and it makes my life 'purposed' .

This week I am once more reading 1984 by George Orwell (20 years on from last perusing)... His treatise on how people live in the various strata of corrupted society, wrapped up in a painfully beautiful love story. It is painful and sharp even today and I wholly recommend
